ATK Integrated Weapon Systems, a division of Armament Systems Group is seeking a Contracts Specialist at our Mesa, AZ facility. In this role you will offer contracts management support and expertise to an exciting business, spanning both DoD and International Contracting business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform contract management activities for assigned programs and provide proactive leadership in all areas of the contract management function, including solicitation review, proposal management, contract negotiations, contract administration, change management, cash flow management and contract closeout;
- Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues;
- Review contractual terms and conditions to ensure protection of company interests.
- Lead team in negotiating new contracts and in identifying and negotiating contract changes.
- Release internal authorization to proceed, funding and other contractual direction received from customer.
- Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
- Ensure compliance with company procedure and government regulation.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Business, Finance and/or related experience.
- Experience in managing government and/or international contracts.
- General understanding of business, accounting and financial system.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, proposal process.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
